Danielle DiFranco
PhD Candidate, Cancer Biology
I obtained my B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan in Spring 2022. I started my Ph.D. in the Arizona Biological and Biomedical Sciences umbrella program in Fall 2022 and then joined the Cancer Biology GIDP in 2023 in Dr. Schroeder’s lab. I am currently investigating the drivers of nuclear EGFR in non-cancerous cells and the role of nuclear EGFR in wound healing and breast cancer progression. In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants with friends, dancing, gardening, and playing with my cat.
