Angelica Escoto
PhD Candidate
I received my B.S. in Biological and Ecological Sciences from Northern Arizona University - Yuma in 2017 and started my PhD in the Molecular and Cellular Biology Program in 2018 in the lab of Dr. Schroeder. I am currently investigating the role of nuclear EGFR in regulating the tumor immune microenvironment to promote breast cancer progression. My research and academic interests involve: tumor immunology; tumor microenvironment; teaching & mentoring; diversity & inclusion in research & education. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, trying out new food, and spending time with my doggo! :-)
